Here at tastes like chicken we get a lot of materials to review. A ton, actually. And, well, not everything that comes our way is golden... or even a current release. In fact, sometimes we get stuff that came out over a year ago. And after awhile, all the old albums and bad music really starts to wear on you. And here is proof. Get out the Wheat Thins, 'cause this album is cheeseball! Eight words, people: "Every bubble you blow, I'm gonna pop it". Wow... this dude's a lyrical genius.

BLOC PARTY - SILENT ALARM (Vice Records)
Release Date: March 22nd, 2005
If you took the short, balding hairs of Devo and braided in some nappy weave of Interpol, you'd have Bloc Party. Their poppy/indie-rock sound and British accents are sure to win them tons of poon in the UK and the States.
